Why texture decides who wins in sun care
Consumers abandon sunscreens for one reason above all: they feel heavy, sticky or white on the skin. Our laboratory has spent decades engineering sun textures that disappear on application, the reason brands come to us specifically for this category. UV filters are demanding ingredients; making them feel like a serum is laboratory craft.
Compliance built in, critical for SPF
Sun protection claims are among the most regulated in cosmetics: SPF testing, UVA/UVB ratio requirements, water-resistance claims and strict labelling rules. Every sun product we develop is formulated to EU Regulation 1223/2009 standards from the first sample, with CPSR, PIF and CPNP handled in house and the required efficacy testing coordinated as part of your project.
How a sun care project works
Like everything at Laboratori Italiani, your sun line is fully custom made around your vision: textures, protection levels, actives, fragrance and packaging. Units and minimums depend on the project; R&D investment is deducted from your first production order. Ready white label sun references (SPF 15, 30, 50, after-sun, tan activator) are also available from 500 pieces per reference.

Yes. SPF and UVA testing at accredited laboratories is coordinated as part of your development project, and the results feed directly into your CPSR and label claims.
